Flexible solution is key for Ramada Jarvis Hotels
Ramada Jarvis Hotels has selected DBC Foodservice to deliver its chilled product range across its UK network of 43 hotels. Initially a two-year deal, the contract will be operated by eight of DBC's branches.
Head of New Business at DBC, Steve Jones, explained, "Ramada Jarvis Hotels required a nationwide solution to deliver over 100 product lines to their network of hotels. They specifically wanted to use EDI to place their orders on-line through iTradeNetwork, their chosen provider – which we were delighted to integrate into our solution. Our IT capabilities allow us the flexibility to tailor our service to meet specific customer requirements".
Debbie Walter, Purchasing Director at Ramada Jarvis Hotels confirmed, "DBC offered a very competitive solution, they demonstrated an honest and open approach to discussions and were able to accommodate our preferred method of ordering. The solution they offered met our needs perfectly, with their flexibility being a key quality in our selection process".
Chris Horne, Managing Director at DBC added, "We are delighted Ramada Jarvis Hotels has chosen DBC as their chilled foodservice partner. We believe we have a genuine solution for delivering foodservice to the hotel catering sector, and this latest award demonstrates our suitability and growing reputation within the industry. We are able to offer competitive rates with a genuine commitment to service levels combined with the flexibility to match customers' specific requirements".
Over the past 18 months Ramada Jarvis Hotels has been busy investing in the refurbishment of their hotels, and are a business enhancing and developing their portfolio.
"We are delighted to have won this business and look forward to working with them as they grow and develop throughout the contract", concluded Horne.
